Despite a furious second-half comeback, Middlesbrough could only tie Bristol City at two goals apiece, dropping them further out of the Championship's automatic promotion spots.

After poor defending allowed Bristol City to score twice before halftime, Vn88 felt that Boro finally got on the board in the 58th minute when Aaron Ramsey scored their first goal.

Halftime goals came from Sam Bell (45+1) and Harry Cornick (49), who redirected a cross from Nahki Wells into the net.

Nevertheless, Middlesbrough scored twice in as many minutes and pulled the score even. Prior to Matt Crooks's equalizer, Ramsey had given the home team the lead with a diving header. Rezence said that Boro's losing streak in the Championship is snapped at two games.

With 53 points, Bristol City jumps two spots to thirteenth.

Boro's comeback to earn a tie

According to Vn88 Rezence, in the first fifteen minutes, both teams had excellent scoring opportunities. Darragh Lenihan made two quick saves to deny Cornick, first with his body and then with a boot. Chuba Akpom, on the other end, missed the goal with a free header.

Wells's aggressive pressing on the right wing created space for Cornick, who then cut inside and fed Andi Weimann. The forward made an effort, but Zack Steffen came in and blocked it.

W88 reviewed that there was some excellent passing and movement all over the field, but less scoring opportunities. From afar, Ryan Giles and Jay Dasilva poured in shots. Crooks also had an excellent header from a Jonny Howson corner that went just wide of the post.

But, Bristol City scored right before halftime to take the lead. Once again, Cornick made a quick break to regain possession for the home team, and Middlesbrough's defense was unable to respond. He played a through ball that Bell glided past Steffen to score on.

Many of the goals came in the second period. Just after halftime, Bristol City made it 2-0 as Middlesbrough's defense once again crumbled. When Steffen blocked Bell's initial left-wing attempt, Wells was there to pounce on the loose ball. Cornick finished off the scoring after receiving his square pass across the goal line.

Yet Middlesbrough's response was just around the corner. The ball was played behind the defense to Tommy Smith on the right flank, who then crossed the ball into dangerous territory. Ramsey snuck up on the back post and beat Max O'Leary with a diving header.

Rezence said that Boro were on equal footing again after four minutes. Akpom and Ramsey played a beautiful combination that ended with Ramsey putting the ball home for Crooks. He then calmly slipped the ball past the goalkeeper to completely end any suspense.

According to W88 Rezence, the game remained quick and furious as both teams desperately sought a victory. Zak Vyner was in position to head in a free kick from Matty James in the 87th minute, but the ball struck him in the chest and went far over the crossbar.

Middlesbrough believed they had scored the game-winning goal late as well, but Cameron Archer's thundering strike was rightfully ruled out for offside and the teams settled for a draw at Ashton Gate.

We gave up two goals—the first because we were careless with runner tracking and the second because we failed to properly clear the ball into row Z. We signed Harry Cornick because of his work ethic and because he provides us with a new option at striker. He now has a goal and an assist for the day.

"We're well aware of the weaknesses that must be addressed. Middlesbrough are a talented team who likely feel they deserved a victory as well. Our group is on the cusp of becoming competitive for postseason berths. This season, we have been too erratic at times, and we still can't seem to find our footing. We must become more formidable opponents. Our defense used to be our weak point, but we've worked hard to improve it and are now a much more exciting and authentic team to watch."

He and Aaron Ramsey are two of our most valuable players, and their goals demonstrated that we have the resolve that will be essential in the upcoming matches.
